Plus, regarding OP's question, if you have to choose images it can be a lot more time consuming to identify the exact image you want to pick from a site once a software has downloaded all the images simultaneously.
  • Once all the Photos are selected, click on the Download icon to begin the process of downloading all iCloud Photos to your computer. Unless you have changed the default settings, all iCloud Photos will be downloaded to the Downloads Folder on your computer.

To download multiple photos at once in Instagram, though, you need a Chrome extension or a download app such as 10insta. Image Downloader for Chrome Image Downloader is a browser extension for Chrome that adds an extra icon, through which you can download multiple images. Delete the images you don't wish to download from the list by selecting them and pressing the Delete key. Select multiple images by shift and/or control clicking on the images. Once you're satisfied with the results click on the 'Download button' (or press F9) to begin downloading the images.

  1. Launch the Messages app.
  2. Tap on the text thread that has the pictures and/or videos you'd like to save.
  3. Tap on the sender's name at the top of the message thread to reveal more options.
  4. Tap info.

  5. Scroll down until you see the collection of all the images and attachments sent during your conversation.
  6. Long press on the first photo or video you want to save to your device.
  7. Tap More. A blue check should appear in the bottom corner of the photo or video to show you've selected it.
  8. Tap on the rest of the photos and/or videos you'd like to save.
  9. Tap Save Images or Save Attachments in the bottom lefthand corner.

That's it! You should now be able to view, send, and edit the attachments as normal in the Photos app.
